Palomino Morgan Stallion, Skys-Ethete-Pride, brought us *color*
We found Sky with an Arabian breeder in Arizona. She'd bought him at 18 months old to breed to her Arabian mares to produce *golden* Half Arabians...she did not know they were called Morabs. Some were even exported to Canada.

SKYS-ETHETE-PRIDE LMRLMRLMRLMRLMRLMRLMRLMRLMRLMR
We leased him when he was five years old for two breeding seasons, and shipped him in from Arizona. He sired several palominos and a couple of buckskins for us, in addition to a few bays and chestnuts. Today, we still have four palomino Morab daughters of Sky, and a dark chestnut with silver mane Morgan daughter. We also have two buckskin Morab grandsons and a palomino granddaughter. His sons and daughters are all over the country. Sky is now owned by a Morgan breeder in California, and is in reining/cutting training. Sky is also working cattle. The current owner is very good at taking her Morgans to the Cow Palace up against the Quarter Horses...and winning. She says she is very excited about Sky. We are looking forward to seeing what he can really do....
DUSKY SKY MONTANA
Montana is a registered Morgan gelding by Sky and out of our mare, Kasey, who is on the Franklin Mint Morgan plate. When we sold Montana to Massachusettes, we sent one of the plates along with him. He sired one foal before being gelded, and is now with a loving family in Maine, making one little girl very happy from what we hear. We have never been really sure what color Montana is - it is strongly felt that he is a smutty buckskin. If we'd known for sure that he was indeed a buckskin, we would never have sold him. What do you think? Is he a buckskin?
LM SKY KING
Pictured at three years old, LM Sky King is one of the very few registered palomino Morab geldings in existance. He is owned by a family in New Jersey, and is showing more maturity at seven years old, getting prettier and prettier. His owners tell us that he has a ton of personality. He is sired by Sky, and out of the chestnut Morab mare, LM Classic Dancer. He has a full brother in Missouri who is also a palomino.
PALOMINO FOALS BY SKY
These pretty palomino Sky babies are LM GOLDEN SKY FROST (Morab filly), LM GOLDEN SKY SHALOM (Morab filly), and GILDED SKY DERRENGER (Morgan colt). Shalom is still with us, and Frost is now an endurance horse in Texas. Both have had Morab colts for us. Frost is an Isabella palomino, and her colt by LM Black Powder is a buckskin. Derrenger went to a great family in Georgia, but sadly was lost to colic a year later at three years old. Frost is out of the Morab mare, LM Frosted-Ice Rose, and Shalom is out of the Morab mare, LM Ark-One Shawna. Derrenger was out of the Morgan mare, Washita Prima Dona.
LM SKY ANGEL
Angel is one of the very few palomino registered Morab mares in existance - we have four of them that we still own. The Morab registry tells us that they have less than 50 total palomino Morabs that have been registered with them. Angel is sired by Sky, and out of the chestnut Morab mare, LM Classic Debut. She has been bred twice to our black Morab stallion, LM Black Powder, and has had two golden buckskin Morab foals, a colt and a filly. Her colt, LM Powder Golddust, turned three in June 2005, and we have kept him as a stallion prospect - although he does have a price on him if someone is interested.
LM GOLDEN SKY FROST

Pictured at her very first endurance ride in Texas, Frost is an Isabella Palomino. She is so light she almost looks gray. Frost only had 30 days under saddle when she did this ride, and she came in 24th out of 70+ starters. Frost has had one foal, a bronze buckskin Morab gelding, LM Powder Bronze, who is just as promising as his dam. He is available for purchase from Liberty Mtn. Ranch.

LM SKY LADY
Pictured here as an 8 year old and just days away from foaling, LM Sky Lady was one of the first palomino babies we got by Sky. She is out of the Arabian mare, Lady Kamal, so she is a 50/50 palomino Morab mare. Sky Lady was bred the first time to our gaited Morgan stallion, Mary Mels Mystery, and she produced an absolutely gorgeous dark chestnut Morab filly with extremely flaxen mane and tail and white markings. That filly, LM Mystery Lady, is now owned by a family in Texas. Sky Lady's second foal by Mystery was born May 2005, and is a stunning palomino gaited Morab filly! This new baby is one we are keeping - she is not for sale.
